Job summary
PACCAR's PQI Engineering position in Denton, TX focuses on engineering design issue resolution, quality improvement, and production support for PPQA, PQI, and FVV. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with PACCAR systems (COPICS, OPS, EASOP, PCMS) preferred.
- Pro-E experience creating drawings.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering design issue resolution, quality improvement development, and production support.
- Duties involve engineering assistance, problem resolution, training and other engineering duties supporting various aspects of heavy truck production.
- Designs specific parts in assigned phases of projects with minimum supervision.
- Lead and/or participate in 6-sigma initiatives to meet plant and division quality goals.
- Prepare and present engineering quality status reports to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
