Job Title

Pipe Fitter - Byram, MS

Job Summary

Experience in layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps, and equipment in an industrial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Ability to take measurements independently and operate power tools.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial construction setting.
• Strong commitment to safety at all times.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screening.

Physical and Job Site Requirements

• Ability to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient strength and stamina to perform technical duties.
• Ability to move in confined spaces and uneven areas.
• Full range of motion appropriate for age.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders.
• Good hearing and response to voice commands, alarms, and job-related noises.
• Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination suitable for heights and uneven surfaces.
• Safety shoes, preferably steel-toe, are required.
