PPM is seeking Journeyman level Boilermakers for an outage in Palatka, FL. This assignment is well planned and part of a top performing team, and your expertise will contribute to our success.

You will maintain and repair heat exchangers, boilers, and steam generators, read mechanical drawings, and perform rigging tasks. Four years of industrial boilermaker experience is required; safety and reliability are essential.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintenance or repair of all types of heat exchangers, baghouses, boilers, and steam generators
• Tube bundle repair, removal, and replacement
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
• Rigging and bull-rigging qualified
• Must possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform all phases of power plant boilermaker-type maintenance / installation work
• Must work safely and efficiently

Experience

• Four-year’s experience working in an industrial environment as a Boilermaker

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
