Job summary

EMCOR Group in Bogalusa, LA is seeking Journeyman Boilermakers for an outage. You will join a well planned, top performing team where your talent drives project success.

Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of heat exchangers, baghouses, boilers and steam generators; tube bundle repair and replacement; reading and interpreting mechanical drawings; and rigging. Four years of industrial Boilermaker experience is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year's experience in an industrial environment as a Boilermaker.
• Must be able to read mechanical drawings.
• Rigging and bull-rigging qualifications.

Experience:

• Four-year's experience working in an industrial environment as a Boilermaker

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
