Job Title:

Delivery Support Person/Driver -- Port St. Lucie, FL

Job Summary:

Operate a one-ton pickup truck with flatbed to transport materials for FPL from service centers to substations and other destinations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of assigned vehicles and complete logs/check sheets.
• Maintain proper fluid levels (fuel, lubricants, grease, oil, coolant).
• Operate trucks safely, complying with laws and PPE requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) and assist in warehouse maintenance and cleaning. Work independently.
• Keep warehouse facilities orderly and safe.
• Lifting heavy objects manually or using warehouse equipment.

Qualifications:

Class A or C CDL preferred.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

• Complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Perform duties requiring strength and stamina.
• Navigate confined and uneven spaces.
• Climb ladders and maintain balance.
• Respond to voice commands and alarms.
• Have visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination suitable for heights and uneven surfaces.
• Wear safety/steel toe shoes.
