Summary

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

Education

Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.

Licensure/Certification

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through NHA, or other recognized certification. CPR required.

Experience

Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives preferred. Familiarity with computers and electronic medical records preferred. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
