Summary

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with physician team to provide quality care to patients and support to providers through consistent communication.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a medical assistant program meeting certification eligibility requirements.
• Certification: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), NCMA (NCCT), or CMAC (AMCA). CPR certification required.
• Experience as a medical assistant or in a physician office preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations; familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
