Job summary

Vangst is seeking a dependable PPE Station Attendant to support the production team in Connecticut by managing the PPE and scrub station during the first shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). You will organize, prep, and stock PPE scrubs, keep the station tidy, and assist with production tasks during downtime while helping ensure safety and compliance on site.

This role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to state regulations and GMP-like standards in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• PPE station: organize, prep, and hang PPE scrubs in break room area and ensure stock is maintained.
• Keep PPE station stocked, tidy, and ready for staff at the start of each shift.
• Assist production tasks as needed and fill downtime by helping the production team.
• Identify and follow safety protocols, complete required training, and report any safety concerns.

Location: Connecticut Pay Rate: $18.50/hour; Shift: First Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

About the Opportunity

Our client is one of the largest and most established cannabis cultivation and production companies in Connecticut, with a growing footprint across the U.S. They are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support their production team by managing the PPE and scrub station.

What You'll Do

• Organizing, prepping, and hanging up all PPE scrubs in the break room area
• Keeping the PPE station stocked, tidy, and ready for staff at the start of each shift
• Stepping in to support production tasks as needed
• Filling downtime by assisting the production team wherever help is needed

Safety & Compliance

• Identify and remain aware of workplace hazards
• Complete and retain required departmental training
• Report safety incidents or concerns and follow all corrective actions
• Adhere to safety protocols, state regulations, and PPE requirements
• Follow GMP, sanitation, biosecurity, and other compliance standards
• Accurately complete required documentation and recordkeeping
• Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment as directed
• Escalate safety or quality concerns as needed

Working Conditions

• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, and repetitive motions
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work on elevated platforms
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently (100 lbs with assistance) with care
• Comfortable working in environments exceeding 85°F with high humidity
• Ability to work at heights when required
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Daily exposure to potential allergens (e.g., cannabis, tree nuts, coconut oil)
