Job summary

L.N. Curtis & sons, CURTIS PPE, is seeking a detail-oriented Processor/Sewer in Gilbert, AZ. The role combines PPE element processing, inspection, and alteration work with data entry and shipping/receiving duties.

You will repair, alter, and add accessories to PPE gear, produce finished items, and learn industry standards to ensure quality and compliance. Excellent English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Strong sewing ability.
• Prior work with heavy fabric and hardware.
• Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and alterations and add accessory items to PPE elements.
• Contribute to production of finished goods (patches, straps, shrouds, bags).
• Follow patterns and specifications; create new ones as needed.
• Alter sizing on uniforms.
• Learn NFPA 1850 and related standards.
• Data entry for element/order/customer/shipping information.
• Sort, inspect and launder PPE elements.
• Assist with inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Use handheld tools and operate company vehicles for pickups/deliveries.
