Job summary

L.N. Curtis & sons is hiring a detail-oriented Processor/Sewer in Gilbert, AZ. You will process, inspect PPE elements, perform repairs, alterations, and add accessory items to PPE components.

Responsibilities include data entry, pattern reading, and maintaining PPE quality while adhering to NFPA 1850 standards. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Sewing ability required.
• Experience with heavy fabric and hardware.
• Able to read and write English proficiently.
• Experience using MS Office for data entry (Word, Excel).
• Able to lift and handle 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair, alter, and add accessories to PPE elements.
• Help produce finished items like patches, straps, and bags.
• Follow existing patterns and specs and create new ones when needed.
• Alter sizing on uniforms.
• Learn NFPA 1850 and related standards for our processes.
• Data entry for element information, orders, and shipping.
• Sort, inspect and launder PPE elements.
• Assist with inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Use handheld hardware and tools as needed.
• Operate company vehicles for pickup/delivery.
