This is a Supply Chain Manager position responsible for overseeing production planning and control, material availability, inventory, supplier delivery, and logistics within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The role will lead and develop a supply chain team while ensuring materials move efficiently from suppliers through production.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead production planning, material planning, inventory control, supplier delivery, and logistics activities.
- Ensure materials and components are available in the correct quantities and on schedule to prevent production interruptions.
- Manage ERP/MRP processes, inventory accuracy, forecasting, supplier releases, and production-support activities.
- Oversee customs compliance, import/export processes, bonded warehouse activities, transportation, cross-dock operations, and packaging.
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight, packaging, inventory, and overall logistics costs.
- Support new automotive program launches and the transition from pre-production into mass production.
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team by providing hands-on guidance and helping employees solve operational challenges.
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal departments, sister facilities, and other business partners across the Americas.

What We’re Looking For
Our client is interested in speaking with supply chain, materials, production control, and logistics professionals who have experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong ERP/MRP knowledge, leadership ability, and experience supporting production planning, inventory, and supplier delivery are important. Automotive manufacturing, bonded warehouse, customs, import/export, CTPAT, or QAD experience is highly preferred but not required in every area.
