Job summary

Dana Incorporated in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Quality Engineer – PPAP to lead PPAP activities for new products, engineering changes, and supplier changes. You will ensure APQP readiness, process validation, and customer approvals while maintaining IATF 16949 compliance across manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, and Supply Chain to drive successful product launches, perform CAPA, and support continuous improvement using robust quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing/automotive quality.
• Experience supporting PPAP submissions and customer launches.
• Strong understanding of APQP, FMEA, MSA, and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPAP packages: preparation, review, submission, and approvals.
• Support APQP activities and launch readiness reviews.
• Develop and maintain control plans and PFMEA updates.
• Interface with customers on PPAP approvals and launch issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and internal standards.
