Job summary

Dana Incorporated is seeking a Quality Engineer – PPAP to lead PPAP and APQP activities for new product launches and changes. You will ensure compliance with AIAG PPAP requirements and maintain PPAP status while coordinating cross-functional teams to drive launch readiness.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering with automotive quality experience, FMEA/MSA/GPQ expertise, and knowledge of IATF 16949. CQE/CQA certifications are preferred and SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing/automotive quality.
• Experience supporting PPAP submissions, APQP activities, customer launches, or quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, MSA, SPC, and control plans.
• Experience with IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review, submission, and approval of customer PPAP packages.
• Ensure compliance with AIAG PPAP requirements and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain PPAP status tracking and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer submission timing to support launch milestones.
• Manage annual revalidations and PPAP updates due to engineering or process changes.
• Support APQP activities and launch readiness reviews.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans and PFMEA updates.
• Lead MSA/GR&R studies and calibration support.
• Support customer visits, audits, and technical reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and data-based decision making.
• Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and internal standards.
• Prepare for audits and close corrective actions.
