Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform carpentry tasks involving physical labor on highway, road, and bridge construction projects.
  • Form, brace, and secure structure forms.
  • Build forms for retaining walls, pipes, and bridges.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, push, pull, lift, sit, squat, and occasionally lift items up to 25 pounds.
  • Approximately 5% of time outside inspecting and maintaining equipment, involving standing, squatting, bending, or lying; 95% sitting and operating equipment.
  • Normal or corrected vision and hearing.
  • Availability to work 5 am - 6 pm, Monday through Saturday.
  • Exposure to machines, chemicals, and high noise levels in the work environment.
