Job summary

Litens Automotive Group, located in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a Technical Account Engineer. This position serves as the primary technical interface with automotive customers, focusing on the integration of powertrain systems and thermal management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include leading technical discussions, developing strong working relationships, and supporting product integration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in automotive engineering, preferably in powertrain or engine systems.
• Strong understanding of automotive development processes (V-cycle, APQP).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and test data.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical point of contact for OEM and Tier 1 customers.
• Translate customer requirements into internal engineering specifications.
• Support the integration of powertrain components into customer platforms.

Skills

Technical skills in product design

Understanding of internal combustion engines

Customer interface experience

3D CAD proficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
