Job summary

Roush in Allen Park, MI is seeking a Program Manager for Powertrain Engineering to lead multiple programs from quoting through completion. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with customers, monitor budgets, schedules, and quality to meet program milestones.

Responsibilities include guiding program teams, maintaining customer relationships, overseeing materials, budgeting, and documentation, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of managing projects and programs.
• Minimum of 2 years of formal or informal leadership experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of program management tools and processes.
• Strong customer relationship skills with focus on cost, quality and delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with cross functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage business aspects of multiple concurrent programs and ensure financial targets and timing are met while maintaining quality.
• Lead, train, coach, and mentor program teams; plan and oversee coordinator activities.
• Maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
• Oversee materials, budgeting, and production for assigned programs.
• Coordinate scope changes and communicate milestones with customers and staff.
• Manage program documentation and compliance with standards.
• Direct coordination groups assigning goals to subcontractors.
• Develop and execute large program plans and monitor daily status.
