Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer and Powertrain Quality Leader to drive quality systems across powertrain manufacturing, focusing on PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process robustness.

You will coach cross-functional teams, support launch readiness, and collaborate with Design, Global and Plant Quality to reduce warranty losses and improve customer satisfaction. Travel ~25% to Michigan, Windsor, Canada and Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5+ years in manufacturing/quality engineering.
• Experience in APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Strong problem-solving and coaching skills.
• Effective cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PFMEAs and Control Plans to align with standards.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support launch quality reviews and warranty reduction efforts.
• Collaborate with Design, Global/Plant Quality, and Warranty teams.
• Train teams on quality processes and standards.
