Job summary

Stellantis Kokomo, Indiana seeks an Industrial Engineer - Powertrain to optimize direct and indirect labor, line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments. You will use lean concepts to identify waste and perform time/motion studies to improve efficiency.

The engineer supports the IE Manager and Supervisor, promoting lean manufacturing and effective manning while interfacing with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Interfacing with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management
• Must be self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to work any shift, overtime and some travel may be required occasionally

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments
• Perform time/motion studies and apply lean concepts to identify/eliminate waste
• Assist IE Manager and IE Supervisor with technical services to maintain lean manufacturing and manning levels
