Job summary

Job description

Test planning and execution

Support ECU development activities by executing defined test plans and validating technical change points. Coordinate test activities with project stakeholders to meet agreed‑upon schedules. Document test progress and results and communicate status as required.

ECU specification support

Support development and validation of Powertrain ECU specifications, including electrical hardware and software aspects. Use tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, MS Visio, or similar tools to support design reviews, requirement validation, and functional understanding.

Troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Perform hands‑on troubleshooting in prototype or mass‑production vehicles using industry‑standard diagnostic tools to identify Powertrain electronics functional issues. Support root cause analysis and evaluation of corrective actions.

Testing and verification of ECU hardware and software

Execute testing activities in prototype or mass‑production vehicles related to EMC, electrical functionality, and verification of technical change points. Collect, analyze, and document test data to ensure performance, quality, and reliability expectations are met. Prepare formal test result reports and support verification reviews.

Compliance and requirements verification

Verify assigned systems meet applicable external requirements such as regulations, ISO standards, cybersecurity, and other required certifications. Support compliance documentation and system validation activities.
