Job summary

Karl Malone PowerSports seeks a full-time Experienced Service Technician to support customers through timely repair and delivery of their vehicles, from ATVs and motorcycles to snowmobiles and UTVs. You will join a fun team with opportunities to grow in a family-centered shop.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, communicating with Service Advisors, and maintaining safety and clean work areas while delivering high-quality service to our customers in Heber Valley.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background and willingness to learn.

• Prompt and courteous service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and AC.
• Test components and diagnose using test drives and diagnostic tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about status and additional repairs.
• Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy. This may include but is not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test a vehicle’s components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle’s status and any additional needs. If additional repairs are needed, provide an estimate of the time needed for those repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.
