Job summary

River Valley Power & Sport in Rochester, MN seeks a skilled Powersports Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports equipment. You will work on Can-Am, Polaris, Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Yamaha, Suzuki, and more in a modern, well-equipped shop with OEM training opportunities and employee discounts. Full-time, year-round with stable volume and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Professional mechanical repair or technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of engines, electrical systems, drivetrains, suspension, and general mechanical repair.
• Pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage repair jobs efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Personal tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with Can-Am, Polaris, Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Yamaha, Suzuki, dealership service, OEM certifications, electrical diagnostics, automotive repair, diesel repair, marine service, motorcycle repair, or heavy equipment is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and other powersports equipment.
• Troubleshoot engine, electrical, fuel, charging, drivetrain, and suspension systems; perform scheduled maintenance and preventative service.
• Complete customer-pay and warranty repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Install OEM accessories, components, and upgrades.
• Assemble and prepare new units for customer delivery.
• Document repairs and diagnostic findings clearly.
• Work with Service Advisors and Parts Specialists to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and workmanship.
