Job summary

McGrath Powersports in Cedar Rapids is seeking a motivated Powersports Sales Consultant to turn passion into a high-earning career. You’ll help customers select motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs, and provide guidance on features, performance, and customization.

We offer guaranteed base pay with uncapped commissions, full benefits, a fast-paced team environment, and training to help you succeed. If you are friendly, coachable, and ready to build lasting relationships, this role could be your next step.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales is preferred, but we provide training.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs that fit needs and budget.
• Provide guidance on features, performance, and customization options.
• Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct test rides and deliver an exceptional buying experience.
• Negotiate pricing and financing options to close deals confidently.
• Maintain records, follow up on leads, and stay current on promotions and inventory.

You’ll represent some of the top names in motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs—helping riders find the perfect match for their lifestyle. Whether you’re an experienced sales professional or new to the industry, we’ll provide the training, tools, and support to help you excel.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

• Passion for motorcycles, powersports, and the lifestyle that comes with it
• Proven ability to connect with customers and build trust
• Prior sales experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset
• Flexible availability, including Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement required
