Houston Motorsports Angleton is seeking a dependable Powersports Porter to support daily dealership operations. The role involves detailing motorcycles, moving inventory between the showroom and lots, and assisting the service department with parts and tasks.

It is an entry-level position with safety-focused responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a motorcycle endorsement (or a plan to obtain one soon), and the ability to lift and move heavy units.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Motorcycle endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain one quickly.
• Experience riding and maneuvering motorcycles of various sizes.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving units up to 850 lbs.
• Willingness to work a dealership schedule including Saturdays.
• Prior roles as lot porter, detailer, or inventory clerk are a plus.
• Active forklift certification or trailer handling experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Detail motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and watercraft to showroom standards.
• Move units between showroom, lots, staging areas, and service.
• Assist service technicians with daily tasks and parts retrieval.
• Load and unload powersports units safely for transport.
• Keep the dealership clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Are you a motorcycle and powersports enthusiast looking to get your foot in the door at a fast-paced dealership? We are seeking a dependable, safety-consciousPowersports Porter to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our vehicle lot, showroom, and service departments run smoothly. You will handle everything from detailing premium machines to assisting technicians and moving heavy units safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Detailing: Clean, wash, and detail motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft to immaculate showroom standards.
• Lot & Inventory Movement: Transport units efficiently between the showroom floor, outdoor vehicle lots, staging areas, and the service department.
• Service Tech Support: Assist service technicians with daily workflow tasks, parts retrieval, and organizing the shop environment.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely secure, strap down, load, and unload powersports units onto trucks or trailers for transport.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the dealership premises, walkways, and display areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. [1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ]

Requirements & Qualifications

• Driver's License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for company insurability.
• Motorcycle Endorsement: A current motorcycle endorsement is strongly preferred (or a strong willingness to obtain one quickly).
• Riding Experience: Confident experience riding, handling, and maneuvering motorcycles of all sizes and manual transmissions.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
• Heavy Lifting: Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and safely pushing heavy units (up to 850 lbs) throughout the shift.
• Schedule Availability: Ability to work a standard dealership schedule, typically including Saturdays (e.g., Tuesday through Saturday). [1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ]
• Prior experience as an automotive lot porter, detailer, or inventory clerk.
• Active forklift certification or experience with trailer handling (towing, backing, and loading).
