Job summary

Cycle Springs Powersports, LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking a motivated Motorcycle Technician to diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs, following manufacturer specs and shop procedures. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available based on skills and certifications.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, install parts as needed, and communicate repair timelines with the Service Advisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related technician experience in powersports industry.
• Formal training in motorcycle mechanics preferred.
• Factory certifications from Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki or Suzuki preferred.
• Unrestricted Florida driver license with motorcycle endorsement required.
• Clean driving record.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Excellent work history and customer service skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs; complete warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete all routine maintenance.

The Motorcycle Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service maintenance of motorcycles and ATVs, while following Company guidelines and procedures.

1. Diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs systems and components.Completes warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications.


2. Completes all routine maintenance.


3. Troubleshoots problems with electrical system, engines, brakes, transmissions, etc.


4. Communicates timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor.


5. Install new parts as needed.


6. Repairs components as needed.


7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
