Qualifications

• Safe, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload powersports vehicles and equipment using a truck and trailer.
• Operate and maneuver motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, golf carts, and other powersports equipment.
• Move and organize inventory throughout the dealership, lot, and warehouse.
• Assist with transporting machines between dealership locations, storage facilities, and other destinations as needed.
• Maintain an organized inventory layout to ensure machines are stored safely and accessible.
• Inspect equipment before and after transportation to prevent damage.
• Secure machines during transportation using straps, tie‑downs, and safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving new inventory and unloading deliveries.
• Keep the dealership lot, warehouse, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist other departments with moving equipment and general dealership needs.

Job Description

Pilson Powersports is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Driver / Porter. This position is responsible for transporting, loading, unloading, and moving a variety of powersports vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating everything from motorcycles and ATVs to side‑by‑sides and golf carts.

This is a hands‑on, physical position that requires someone who is organized, safety‑conscious, and confident handling different types of machines.

Requirements

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload powersports vehicles and equipment using a truck and trailer.
• Operate and maneuver motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side‑by‑sides, golf carts, and other powersports equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• No CDL required.
• Experience driving trucks with trailers, including backing, maneuvering, loading, and unloading.
• Ability and confidence to safely operate various types of powersports vehicles.
• Must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing on and off equipment, and working on your feet for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to safely handle large, heavy, and high‑value equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed.
• Previous experience with powersports equipment, trailers, or dealership operations is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach, climb, stand, and walk.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely maneuver and secure motorcycles and other large powersports equipment.

Compensation

Starting pay: Approximately $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
