Job summary

Air Transport Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Trent 700 Powerplant Programs Manager to lead the strategic, technical, and operational management of engine programs across their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, OEMs, and MRO partners to optimize maintenance, reliability, and asset value while ensuring regulatory compliance and contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Management, or related technical discipline.
• 7-10+ years in aircraft engine programs, commercial aviation maintenance, or related aviation field.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial turbofan engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul practices.
• Experience managing engine shop visits, maintenance scopes, cost estimates, and MRO performance.
• Knowledge of LLPs, engine configuration management, technical records, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial and analytical skills including forecast, budget, and negotiations.
• Proven project management for multiple high-value engine events.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall management of Trent 700 engine programs, including maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning.
• Oversee engine shop visits from planning through completion, including costs and return-to-service.
• Monitor engine performance, reliability trends, and maintenance events; improve reliability.
• Develop and monitor budgets; analyze costs and maximize asset value.
• Oversee contractual obligations with OEMs, MROs, airlines, and lessors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, LLP status, and service bulletins.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, finance, procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Support long-term engine planning and asset utilization.
• Manage multiple engine events with visibility into schedules and budgets.
