A leading IT services firm is seeking a skilled professional to deploy and manage PowerFlex Appliances for a major client project. This role involves troubleshooting, designing network architectures, and ensuring optimal performance for PowerFlex systems. Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy PowerFlex Appliance for customer environments.
  • Manage PowerFlex Manager and PowerFlex Gateway for optimal performance and security.
  • Conduct customer handoffs and ensure seamless transition to PowerFlex.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common issues with PowerFlex Appliance and related systems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their network and router requirements.
  • Design and implement network architectures for PowerFlex deployments.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of PowerFlex Appliance software and hardware components.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerFlex features and enhancements.
  • Provide remediation and vulnerability testing support and coordinate with Dell/EMC.

Skills

PowerFlex appliance – Compute and Storage only nodes
PowerFlex Manager, remediation, vulnerability testing
Experience with PowerFlex OS (3.x, 4.x) and 2-layer and HCI offerings
PowerFlex OS components: MDM, SDS, SDC, SDR, SVM
PowerFlex CLI/SCLI and PFxM familiarity
PowerFlex Manager UI navigation and PFMP understanding
RCM workflow knowledge, upgrade paths, and health assessment capabilities
Troubleshooting PowerFlex upgrade/hardware issues and Management Platform errors
Experience with CloudLink encryption and day-to-day CloudLink administration
vCenter, ESXi, Linux networking, and related administration concepts
Experience with Dell support, log collection, and cross-team collaboration

Overview

Description: Must have skills: PowerFlex appliance – Compute and Storage only nodes. Will work on a large Fortune 500 client team with varying levels of experience. Planning is complete; this team’s primary responsibility will be to catch up on remediation and vulnerability testing. The end customer is a financial institution and is working on a massive Data Center consolidation project.
