Job summary

Air National Guard Units (DAF) seeks a Powered Support Systems Mechanic (WG-5378-10) at Robins AFB, GA. This full-time, excepted position requires Georgia National Guard membership and offers relocation reimbursement.

Salary ranges $29.92–$34.89 per hour with Secret security clearance considerations. Primary duties include interpreting drawings and specifications, diagnosing complex powered support equipment, repairing electronic components, and training personnel in maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of complex equipment.
• Ability to read and use technical manuals, illustrations, diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with diagnosing, repairing and maintaining powered support equipment and related systems.
• Ability to lift heavy components up to 90 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret manufacturer drawings and specs to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Repair electronic components (digital and analog).
• Repair gas turbine and electronically controlled engines.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing on powered support equipment.
• Train maintenance personnel on operations, tests, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain test equipment and data records.
