Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Grove City, Ohio is seeking a Powered Industrial Truck Operator to help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse. You will operate sit-down forklifts, clamp and reach trucks, pallet jacks and Hi-Lo units while ensuring accurate order picking and timely loading.

Use barcode scanners and the WMS to keep inventory moving, perform routine equipment checks, and coordinate with teammates to support a fast-paced distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts (lift, reach, clamp), pallet jacks and Hi-Lo units.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and forklift safety practices.
• Familiarity with WMS workflows and barcode scanning.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math for counting and reconciling quantities.
• Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and order picker equipment in line with OSHA and company safety rules.
• Load/unload trailers; follow best practices for heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Use barcode scanners to pick orders precisely and update a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Organize inventory locations for efficient flow and damage prevention.
• Complete equipment checklists; make simple adjustments or escalate maintenance needs.
• Confirm incoming and outgoing shipments against bills and documentation.
