Job summary

RiceFW Technologies Inc. is seeking a PowerBuilder/.Net developer to serve as backup support for a Banking application. The role translates requirements into database and program solutions, working independently or with a team and adhering to coding standards. On-site 3 days a week (T, W, Thurs) with full documentation turnover to SCC staff.

The ideal candidate has PowerBuilder/Infomaker and Web API maintenance experience, plus strong SQL Server/Oracle skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• PowerBuilder/Infomaker experience required.
• Web site maintenance using Asp.net, MVC, Web forms, Blazor (5+ years).
• Visual Studio experience (5+ years).
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (5+ years).
• WEB API maintenance using C#, EF, LINQ (1+ year).
• Oracle/SQL Server (5+ years).
• Experience with Microsoft Visio, SharePoint and Office apps (5+ years).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (5+ years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (5+ years).
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team (5+ years).
• Highly motivated and self-directed (5+ years).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (3+ years).
• Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server (3+ years).
• Client-Server (EXE) maintenance (C#/VB.NET, EF, Oracle) (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation.
• Supports FIIS PowerBuilder applications and other .Net apps.
• Handles system administration, maintenance and support.
• Responds to alerts and events; documents findings and recommendations.
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements programs and systems.
• Maintains standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Performs related work as required.
