Job summary

SCC is seeking a PowerBuilder/.Net developer to provide backup support for a Banking application. The role involves translating requirements into database and program solutions and documenting all work for turnover to SCC staff.

Ideal candidates work independently and with a team, adapt to change, and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, following policy, procedures, and coding standards.

Qualifications

• PowerBuilder/Infomaker and .NET development experience.
• Web site maintenance using ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms, Blazor.
• Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript and REST API (C#, EF, LINQ) experience.
• Oracle/SQL Server experience and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation.
• The individual will primarily support FIIS written in PowerBuilder and other .NET applications.
• Responds to system alerts, documents findings, and makes recommendations.
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements programs and systems.
• Maintains standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
