Job summary

Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Mid-level Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize advanced Power BI dashboards and reports. You will support migration of legacy reports, collaborate with data engineers, and deliver data-driven insights for strategic decisions in a hybrid office setting.

The role requires strong SQL, DAX, and cloud data integration skills, plus experience with data warehousing concepts and security. U.S. citizenship with DHS EOD eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain DHS EOD Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of relevant experience (or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, specifically PowerBI.
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX programming, data integration, data modeling, and cloud integration.

Responsibilities

Everforth ECS is seeking a PowerBI Developer - Mid to work in our Arlington, VA office (Hybrid).

Everforth ECS is seeking a PowerBI Developer - Mid with strong data analysis and visualization skills to join our team. In this role, you will support our lead BI developer and help maintain and enhance our business intelligence dashboards and reports, support the migration of legacy reports and creating new, high-impact Power BI solutions. You will interface with key stakeholders and leverage your technical proficiency throughout the migration process, as well as design and develop advanced interactive dashboards that drive insights and support strategic data-driven decision-making. This position requires a robust combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Development: Collaborate and support business units to design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Data Integration: Partner with the data engineering team to integrate Power BI with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and implementing necessary data transformations.
• Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring rapid load times and intuitive user experiences.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for developed Power BI dashboards, data models, and processes.
• Training & Support: Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users on Power BI usage, best practices, and data visualization techniques.

• US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) Public Trust
• Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of relevant experience (or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, and specifically PowerBI
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX programming, data integration, data modeling, and cloud integration.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data querying, manipulation, and automation
• Experience building dashboards and reports, business intelligence, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, Data security implementation.

• Experience working with AWS S3, Databricks Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake, SQL server, oracle databases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and working in a team environment.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000
