Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a PowerBI/Data Analytics Business Execution Consultant for a 24-month hybrid contract in the Chandler, AZ area. You will design Power BI dashboards, optimize SQL queries, and automate reporting to support technology asset management governance and risk oversight.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in business execution and Power BI, with strong communication skills and experience in Jira and ServiceNow development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
• 4+ years of Power BI experience.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to analyze data and present insights effectively.
• Experience with Jira for user stories and governance.
• Experience designing Power BI dashboards for technology risk and governance.
• Strong SQL query development and data extraction skills.
• Familiarity with Power Query ETL processes and data automation.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning.
• Review and analyze Business Execution challenges and factors.
• Collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables and compliance requirements.
• Support reporting and governance initiatives related to VEoS compliance governance.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards delivering actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Automate data extraction and reporting using Power Query and ETL methods.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and gather stakeholder requirements.
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, risks, and process improvements.
• Create and manage user stories and development tasks in Jira for ServiceNow work.

What You Will Be Doing

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Business Execution deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Business Execution.
• Support reporting and governance initiatives related to Technology Asset Management Vendor End of Support (VEoS compliance governance to include:
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver actionable insights for technology, risk, and governance stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes using Power Query and ETL methodologies.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Create and manage user stories, requirements, and development activities within Jira for ServiceNow development.
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and continuous improvement for reporting and analytics solutions.
