Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Project Engineer for our Power Group to join a growing multi-disciplinary team in the Lehigh Valley, Wilkes-Barre, or Philadelphia, PA. You will support civil engineering for power utility and land development projects from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, 4–8 years of related experience, EIT certification, and a PE license in progress. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and permitting knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
4–8 years of civil engineering experience in power, land development or related infra.
EIT certification required; PE preferred or in progress.
Experience with land development, utility site, access and permit apps.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of modeling software is a plus.
Familiar with local/state permitting processes.
Ability to coordinate with power utility clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Perform civil design and analysis for power utility and land development projects.
Prepare site development, grading, utility and access plans; drafting docs.
Design stormwater, drainage, and utility infrastructure systems.
Coordinate with clients and regulators on permits and access needs.
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff; contribute to docs.
Participate in proposal prep, technical reports, and cost estimates.
