Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Power Utility Distribution Designer to advance distribution design for overhead and underground systems, combining fieldwork with office analysis.

The successful candidate will field and design work for customers and support project execution. Requirements include 2+ years of electric utility distribution experience, familiarity with GE Smallworld or SAP, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on electric utility distribution experience.
• Experience with GE Smallworld, SAP, or similar utility design/work management systems.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
• Able to work as part of a team, yet be self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Field and design work for the customer across overhead and/or underground distribution systems.
• Balance approximately 50% fieldwork with 50% office-based work within the local geographic territory; some overnight travel may be required.
