Job description

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 4 years of experience as an apprentice lineman.
• Ability to conduct a Job Task Safety Analysis (JTSA) as required.
• Proficient in stringing, sagging, clipping, and dead-ending conductors.
• Experience in grounding conductors and setting up an Equipotential Workzone.
• Ability to ascend and descend poles of all types to change out cross arms, transformers, and repair conductors.
• Ability to lead a crew during on-call rotations.
• Skilled in interpreting maps, specifications, staking sheets, and complex diagrams.
• Capable of maintaining records for time worked and materials used, and knowledgeable of equipment and OSHA regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of first aid, safety rules, line materials, and tools, and their proper use.
• Good judgment, safe work methods, and ability to work well with diverse groups.
• Ability to perform Pole Top Rescue and Bucket Rescue.
• Assist in training Apprentice Linemen.
• Ability to lead in Crew Foreman’s absence.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. (over 50 lbs. with assistance).

The base pay range for this role is $40 - $50 per hour.
