Shambaugh & Son, part of EMCOR Group, is seeking a skilled Power Tool Repair Technician in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and tracking a wide variety of construction power tools and equipment used by field personnel, ensuring tools are safe, reliable, and ready for operation.

You will perform preventative maintenance, identify equipment issues, complete repairs, manage repair records, order replacement parts, and help maintain an organized

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or toolroom preferred.
• Must operate and maintain company equipment in a safe manner at all times
• Ability to multi-task
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Good communication and organizational skills, with ability to communicate effectively with others
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organized toolroom/workspace

Responsibilities

• Initiating orders for materials and supplies and verifying inventory.
• Organizing and storing items in the toolroom and issuing them as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels using computer systems
• Loading/unloading trucks, using forklifts, and moving materials around the warehouse
• Performing basic repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment
• Processing paperwork related to inventory and logistics
• Other duties as required
