ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer to join our team in a mid-level, senior, or principal leadership role from our offices in Kennesaw, GA, Naperville, IL, or Fort Worth, TX.

The role focuses on electrical power system studies and problem-solving for design modifications across diverse industries including Nuclear Services, Federal Services, Energy, and Data Centers. Responsibilities include delivering electrical studies, performing quality reviews, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• MS in a relevant topic of Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in the nuclear power industry is preferred.
• Maintains an active PE license or planning to obtain in near future.
• 3+ years electrical studies (Mid-Level).
• 6+ years electrical studies (Senior Level).
• Experience evaluating large-scale power systems per NEC/IEEE/IEC/NERC.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering topics via textbooks, papers, and industry studies.
• Experience performing load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection studies, and transient stability.
• Device setpoint development for protection schemes.
• Ability to investigate industry problems and provide creative solutions.
• Experience using power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, EMTP-RV, PSCAD).
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with nuclear power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical studies and design recommendations for power systems.
• Perform quality reviews for calculations, studies, software models, designs, and data.
• Provide mentorship and oversee technical work on projects.
