Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking engineers for the Engineer Rotational Development Program (ERDP) in Electric Engineering (Power Systems). The 12-month program offers six-month rotations across departments such as Distribution Asset Planning, Transmission Systems Planning, and Grid Innovation.

Candidates will work in PG&E's hybrid environment with opportunities to impact the grid of the future. A ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree is required, with May 2025–July 2027

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) expected between May 2025 and July 2027.
• Experience with Python and SQL is desirable.
• Strong communication, initiative, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in six-month rotations across multiple Electric Engineering departments.
• Contribute to engineering analyses and project work within PG&E’s grid initiatives.
