PG&E’s Engineer Rotational Development Program (ERDP) in Oakland offers a 12-month, two-department rotation for early-career electrical engineers to gain broad experience across grid planning, operations, and grid innovation.

Participants rotate every six months and work within PG&E’s electric engineering teams, contributing to meaningful projects and grid improvement initiatives while being compensated according to degree level and location.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering by July 2027.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Strong communications, initiative, and teamwork; internship experience in utilities, power industry, or related fields.

Responsabilités

• Participate in 12-month rotations across listed departments to gain broad engineering experience.
• Contribute to engineering analyses and grid improvement initiatives within PG&E’s service territory.
