Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company in Oakland is recruiting engineers for the Engineer Rotational Development Program (ERDP) in Electric Engineering (Power Systems). The 12-month program includes six-month rotations across key departments to gain hands-on experience in PG&E’s transmission and distribution network.

Compensation is hourly: $49.51 for a bachelor’s degree and $54.32 for a master’s degree. Applicants must have an ABET-accredited BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (May 2025–July 2027)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from May 2025 to July 2027 from an ABET accredited university.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Must have reliable transportation for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Six month rotations in each department to learn and contribute to project success.
• Work across PG&E's service territory within the rotation departments.
