Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field by the time of hire.
  • Demonstrated record of publishing peer-reviewed research in leading journals and conferences.
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to building a world‑class research program at WSU.
  • Proven or potential for successful teaching and instruction.
  • Demonstrated record of or potential for commitment to an inclusive educational experience in alignment with WSU’s land grant mission.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in electrical engineering.
  • Conduct funded research and publish in top-tier venues.
  • Direct M.S. and Ph.D. student research programs.
  • Participate in teaching assessment activities of the School of EECS.
  • Collaborate with the School, the University, and regional partners such as PNNL.

Education

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proven or potential for successful teaching and instruction
