Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Product Quality Engineer to own system-level power debug for customer returns and field failures in data center systems. You will lead investigations, isolate complex power issues, and connect board signals to system behavior with a strong root-cause mindset.

Work with hardware design, firmware, reliability, and manufacturing teams to drive containment, corrective actions, and knowledge learning. Strong communication and Linux-based debugging are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
Hands-on hardware debug and field/failure analysis experience.
Proficient reading schematics, PCB layouts, and power trees.

Responsibilities

Lead system-level power failure analysis for customer returns and field failures.
Confirm, reproduce, and isolate complex power failures (no power, intermittent boot, brown-out).
Analyze power architecture from AC/DC input through PSU, PDU, and rails.
Use oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, logs, and Linux diagnostics for root cause data.
Correlate field data, firmware behavior, telemetry, and BOM history to identify root cause and risk.
Collaborate with design, firmware, reliability, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve issues.
Create technical reports and executive summaries outlining failure mechanism, impact, and mitigation.
