Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer in the Datacenter Systems Engineering team. You will validate power management controllers and interfaces for server platforms in a hands-on lab environment, collaborating with board designers and AE teams.

Candidates should have strong debugging, scripting, and system-level validation skills, plus experience with PCIe, I2C, SPI and hardware bring-up for CPU/GPU products.

Qualifications

• BS EE/CE or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on hardware/software debug.
• Ability to learn new technologies and solve complex hardware validation challenges.
• Strong debugging of board-level failures, signal integrity and firmware behavior.
• Lab experience with board bring-up, hardware debug and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation test plans for server platforms and modules.
• Perform electrical and functional validation of interfaces and components, including PCIe, I2C, SPI, SMBus and power sensors.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues during NPI builds to ensure timely launches.
• Debug and root cause hardware, firmware, and interoperability issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to root cause and resolve hardware and software issues.
