Job summary

Fabick Cat seeks a Power Systems Project Manager to coordinate personnel, materials, and activities for Caterpillar power generation systems. You will oversee procurement, site coordination, installation, startup, and project closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.

The role requires engineering education or equivalent experience, plus 2–3 years in project management and strong technical knowledge of diesel/gas engines, switchgear, and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience in power generation.
• 2-3 years of project management experience; preferred for complex technical projects.
• 1-3 years of training experience, preferably in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of diesel/gaseous engines, generators, switchgear, and power systems.
• Ability to read and apply technical docs, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead new and used power generation projects from order to customer acceptance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Service, and Admin to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop schedules, milestones, and deliverables for startup readiness.
• Oversee engineering, site meetings, installation, and commissioning.
• Maintain product and industry expertise through training and resources.
• Manage project finances, vendor purchases, reporting, and closeout.
