IBM is seeking to hire a Power Firmware Developer Intern to work on firmware and low-level system software for IBM Power Systems. Qualifications

Programming experience in C/C++ demonstrated through coursework, projects, internships, or research.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Strong interest in firmware development, embedded systems, low-level programming, operating systems, or hypervisors.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop firmware and low-level system software for IBM Power Systems.
Design and implement firmware, platform initialization, hardware enablement, systems management, virtualization, and performance/reliability features.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver innovations.
