Job summary

A leading consulting engineering firm in the United States seeks an Electrical Engineer to focus on power system analysis. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 4 years of experience. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering especially in power system analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Skilled in protective device coordination and arc-flash analysis.
  • Capable of performing grounding system analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in load flow, short circuit, and ampacity studies.

Responsibilities

  • Power system modeling and preparing electrical calculations for solar and battery storage projects and substations.
  • Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support power system analysis.
  • Coordinating with lead engineer EOR on study requirements.
  • Analyze designs to ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC standards.
  • Perform modeling and studies using ETAP, WINIGS, CYMCAP and others.
  • Conduct load flow, short circuit, arc flash, grounding, and ampacity studies.

What You’ll Do:
