Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to perform power system studies for domestic and international projects. You’ll work on short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination, arc-flash studies, and power quality assessments.

The role blends office analysis with occasional field activities, travels domestically and internationally, and direct engagement with customers on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in power systems.
• Experience with short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, and power quality studies.
• Proficiency with SKM, ETAP or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, analysis and power system studies for projects.
• Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination and arc-flash studies.
• Perform power factor, harmonic modeling, and grounding studies.
• Interact with customers to gather project information and review plans.
• Support field activities as needed, including shutdowns and startups.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver reliable electrical solutions.
