Job summary

Actalent is seeking a BMS & EPMS Systems Engineer to own the full lifecycle design, programming, documentation, integration, and commissioning support of Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems in hyperscale data centers.

This role combines deep expertise in HVAC controls, power quality analysis, metering, and telemetry mapping, with hands-on collaboration across mechanical and electrical teams.

Qualifications

• Building Management Systems/Building Automation Management experience.
• Schneider PME or Ignition experience.
• Data center or mission-critical facility experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Google-specific controls and EPMS documentation/standards.
• Ability to write advanced SOOs for airflow/thermal optimization.
• Experience interpreting EPMS standards.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle design, programming, documentation, integration and commissioning support of BMS/EPMS in data centers.

• Travel to data center sites as required for on-site support and validation.

Description

The BMS & EPMS Systems Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle design, programming, documentation, integration, and commissioning support of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) in hyperscale data centers. This role requires deep expertise in both mission-critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including HVAC controls, chilled water topologies, power quality analysis, metering integration, and telemetry mapping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $72.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
