Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Ability to read one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Knowledge of electrical safe work practices (LOTO, OSHA, NFPA 70E).
Experience with electrical test instruments and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform acceptance, maintenance, and troubleshooting testing of electrical power distribution equipment.
Inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and document work on switchgear, breakers, relays, transformers, and MCCs.
Set up, operate, and maintain electrical test equipment safely.
Analyze test results and identify abnormal conditions requiring corrective action.
Prepare field reports, test documentation, and equipment records with accuracy.
Communicate findings and project status to supervisors and customers.
